Specialists of the Laboratory of Quarantine Phytosanitary Examinations and Surveys of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) confirmed their competence by taking part in the Interlaboratory Comparison Tests.
The Interlaboratory Comparison Tests was organized by the official provider - the All-Russian Plant Quarantine Center. Omsk experts took part in research in the following areas: entomology, herbology, bacteriology and virology. It was necessary to identify the oriental bark beetle, the Phoridae (a family of small, hump-backed flies resembling fruit flies), and also to determine the bacterial wilt of maize, brown potato rot, beet virus, and Cenchrus longispinus. Specialists coped with all the tasks. The Laboratory of Quarantine Phytosanitary Examinations and Surveys at the end of results processing received a certificate of participation in the Interlaboratory Comparison Tests.
