Omsky Biocluster: Opportunities for Russian-German Collaboration

September 30 - October 1, Zerbst / Anhalt - the birthplace of Catherine the Great - became the venue for the II German-Russian Economic Dialogue of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt. At the invitation of German partners, Dmitry Romanenko, Chairman of the Board, CEO of Omsky Biocluster Association, participated in the events.

 

Dmitry Romanenko within the panel discussion Agrarian and Food Industry (moderator - Tanja Galander, PricewaterhouseCoopers Germany), presented to German colleagues the possibilities of collaborating German business with the Omsky Biocluster members, as well as the investment potential of the Omsk region. The panelists unanimously noted that the existing sanctions restrictions are unjustified barriers to the business collaboration of the two countries.

"Business negotiations took place with German colleagues from the government of Saxony-Anhalt, industry associations and unions, and the business community. Agreement was reached on specifying the mechanisms of interstate collaboration within the the roadmap, which will be developed by the Omsky Biocluster based on the results of the visit to Zerbst."
