October 31, Eurodon CEO Vadim Vaneev left his post. At the same time, the representative of Vnesheconombank (VEB) explained that now Vaneev will work as Deputy General Director for Development of Eurodon.
"In the future, we have plans to conduct an independent assessment of the enterprise. It will take about a year to fully restore its work," noted VEB.
In recent years, Eurodon has been experiencing major financial problems; several multimillion lawsuits have been filed against the company. One of them contained the requirement to declare the company bankrupt. The company turned off electricity because of debt, and the livestock was dying due to underfeeding. The departure of Vaneev from the post of CEO was one of the conditions for assisting the enterprise from Vnesheconombank.
