RusAg was the first in Russia to issue special cards for farmers

Russian Agricultural Bank JSC (Omsk Branch is the Omsky Biocluster member) has started issuing debit and credit bank cards for employees, shareholders and members of organizations-members of the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives (AKKOR) based on the Mir payment system.

RusAg offers to issue a payment card in any region of Russia for free. Commission for annual maintenance is not charged. Holders of such cards will receive additional benefits by returning cashback when making purchases up to 10%. Also, customers can participate in the loyalty program of the Mir payment system (Russian analogue of VISA and MasterCard). A debit card provides an opportunity to withdraw cash in the devices of third-party banks in the Russian Federation up to 150,000 RUR ($ 2,292) per month without a commission, and the grace period for lending by credit card is up to 55 days.

"RusAg traditionally supports farmers by offering the most profitable programs for SMEs borrowers in the agricultural sector. Together with AKKOR, we developed products for companies to carry out seasonal work and a retail loan for any purpose for farmers. Now we have taken another step to strengthen our long-term cooperation and present a new project, cards for natural persons.  I am sure that favorable terms of service, both on a debit card and a credit card, will be popular with farmers," First Deputy Chairman of the RusAg Board Irina Zhachkina said.

RusAg was one of the first to issue the Mir national payment card. Now the bank is actively issuing Russian cards in accordance with the National Payment System Statute. As of March 1, 2019, more than 4.5 million customers use RusAg payment cards.
