The production of mixed fodders in Russia is steadily growing

Russian enterprises in May this year produced 2.45m tons of mixed fodder. The growth was 0.8% compared to April of this year and 8.1% compared to May 2017.

 

According to experts, the volume of fodder produced in Russia in May reached a maximum since March last year. Since January 2016, the minimum volume of production of mixed fodder was recorded in February last year - 2.02m tons. The maximum production volume in March 2017 was 2.45m tons. For reference: according to the Ministry of Agriculture, in 2017, Russia produced 27.6m tons of mixed fodder. Production growth was 7% compared to 2016 and 20% compared to 2014. By 2020, the release of these products in Russia, according to the forecast of officials, can exceed 30m tons.
