The Government of the Omsk region signed an agreement with Stargorod-Agro LLC. The company has been operating since 2011, registered in Andreevka (Omsky district), with the main activity 'growing grain, leguminous crops and oilseeds'.
Stargorod-Agro will develop the necessary documentation, the construction of the facility, the creation of an internal engineering infrastructure, the commissioning and further operation of the enterprise. The Government of the Omsk Region will provide organizational and advisory assistance for the implementation of an investment project that will increase modern capacity for storing and processing grain. Interaction with the investor will be carried out by the Ministry of Economics of the Omsk region.
Now the Omsk region has the capacity to store 4 million tons of grain. Almost half of this volume (1.9 million tons) is the capacity of grain elevators, the rest is the rest - grain storages and warehouses of grain-receiving enterprises and agricultural organizations. However, most grain elevators were built in Soviet times.
