V.Krasnitsky: nitrogen in the soil is the key to future harvests

Omsk farmers continue harvesting. The 2018th year was extremely difficult for the Omsk farmers to harvest, but today farmers are already thinking about the next year's harvest factors.

Evaluation of the nitrogen fund of fields, planning tactics for the acquisition of nitrogen fertilizers and their use are some of these factors. In recent years, the farms of Omsk region have been considering the possibility of using anhydrous ammonia as an autumn soil fertilizer.

Director of the Agrochemical Service Center Omsky FSBI (member of Omsky Biocluster) Vladimir Krasnitsky:

"The advantages of using anhydrous ammonia are known, all processes are mechanized, when using anhydrous ammonia, nitrogen is evenly distributed in the soil. Nitrogen is well retained by the soil, even when it is excessively moist, it is well retained by the soil and provides nutrition to the plants. Nitrogen eliminates pests such as wireworms, mice, and others. The use of nitrogen does not require additional soil deoxidation. The use of anhydrous ammonia makes weed germination slow. The use of anhydrous ammonia makes weed germination slow."

In this regard, the Agrochemical Service Center Omsky offers services for the diagnosis of nitrogen content (nitrate, ammonium) in the soil. For all questions you can contact by phone (3812) 77-53-75, 77-57-60, 77-57-48.
