2020 is a landmark year for the main agrarian bank of Russia. Celebrating the round date, the Russian Agricultural Bank demonstrates a steady trend for development, a systematic increase in support for the agroindustry and ensuring food security throughout the country. The Omsk Regional Branch (Omsky Biocluster member) effectively supports the bank's global development strategy. Exactly twenty years ago, on September 27, the first customer service office began operating in the Omsk region.
Now it is one of the largest banks in the Omsk region. The service network includes 23 additional and operational offices, of which 5 are located in Omsk, and 18 are located in the districts of the Omsk region. For the convenience of customers, 51 ATMs and 54 information and payment terminals operate in the region.
In terms of lending volumes, the Omsk branch of RusAg occupies a leading position among credit institutions in the region. The aggregate loan portfolio of the branch as of September 15, 2020 is over RUR 12 billion ($ 155.28 million). The bank's clients in Omsk are about 3,000 companies and more than 131,000 citizens. During the work, more than RUR 92 billion ($ 1190.52 million) have been invested in the regional economy.
"Over the past twenty years, we have managed to achieve good results. The planned development of the bank in the region has made it possible to organize stable financial support for both large agricultural producers in the region and SMEs. We have done a great job to develop the bank as a universal financial institution for all categories of clients. It is especially noteworthy that for the first time in a long time of our work, the volumes of funds raised from private and legal clients of the branch showed identical values: 50% of the portfolio each. I would like to express my gratitude to all employees and managers of the regional network. It is thanks to the dedication of each employee at all stages of the bank's development that today the branch occupies a significant position in the financial ecosystem of the Omsk region!" Lev Yaneev, director of the Omsk branch of RusAg, said.
