Responsible Alcohol Consultant Zoey Henderson presented a craft beer line with 0.5% alcohol content, which is made with medicinal mushrooms. The foamy drink from the Fungtn line is made from three types of mushrooms. Each of them has its own beneficial properties: hedgehog, reishi and chaga.
Henderson was introduced to 'medicinal' mushrooms during a trip to California. She created the Fungtn brand during a period of self-isolation. The beer is aimed at consumers who consume low alcohol drinks 'responsibly'. At the same time, the new product has a taste similar to alcohol. Experts explain that 'medical' mushrooms help to cope with stressful situations, restore balance in the body, and also support the immune and endocrine systems.
