The next stage in the development of interregional cooperation with the Siberian Federal District was a program to improve the efficiency of breeding work in breeding enterprises of Omsk region. The specialists of the Novosibirsk regional information-selection center of IC SIBAGROCOMPLEX LLC offered their assistance and consulting support.
The experts of Center have the necessary level of qualification, long experience of analytical work in cattle breeding, the possibility of using modern specialized breeding programs. Center offers an analysis of the results of the use of producers in the herd, an assessment of the accumulated genetic potential and the development of an integrated breeding program in order to achieve specific breeding tasks.
A positive factor is the possibility of choosing from a wide range of producers, regardless of the supplier of genetic material provided by Omsk SIBAGROCOMPLEX-BIO LLC. This will allow to develop and implement a sufficiently flexible model that takes into account the capabilities and prospects of a particular company, while strictly in compliance with the requirements for breeding enterprises and in accordance with the regional plan for the development of livestock breeding approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region.
The participants of this project are Sosnovskoye LLC (a pedigree reproducer for black and motley breed) and Ermak Company (a pedigree reproducer for the red steppe breed), a number of other tribal enterprises are showing interest. Using the opportunities of Interregional Center for Agro Industry Engineering, including organizations with different specializations, will significantly improve the efficiency of pedigree livestock farming within a particular enterprise, and then in the scale of the region.
