February 2, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Omsk region Maxim Chekusov held an expanded interdepartmental meeting on the participation of Omsk companies in SIAL China 2018.
SIAL CHINA is the main international exhibition in China on food products, soft drinks, wines, spirits and specialized equipment. The exhibition has been held since 2000, first in Beijing, and since 2002 in Shanghai annually and together with PACKTECH & FOODTECH (exhibition of food technologies and packaging). Within the exhibition, there is also a China Wine and Spirits Competition. In parallel, the largest exhibition of wines and alcoholic beverages SIAL WINE WORLD will be held in China. Its participants will be about 450 companies, which will occupy 12,000 square meters in the pavilion 1.
SIAL CHINA will become a venue for more than 3000 exhibitors and 80,000 trade visitors from all over the world. Statistics of 2016: 2942 exhibitors (+ 14% - 2015) from 67 countries, 126500 sq. M. m (+ 10% - 2015), 61 national pavilions, 76986 visitors. SIAL China 2017 occupied an area of 149500 square meters. A record number of 3,200 participants from 70 countries and about 80,000 industry professionals were registered.
