The Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Products of Animal and Vegetable Origin, Feed and Environmental Objects of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) identified a sample of oil flax with non-conformity of regulatory documentation.
Studies have shown a significant excess in the content of trash, which greatly reduces the flax quality. The grain mass of flax is heterogeneous in its composition, in addition to high-grade grains of the main crop, it always contains a variety of impurities trapped during harvesting, transportation and storage, which reduce the quality of seed and food benefits. Impurities are ballast, they occupy a certain amount of transport during transportation. The presence of impurities and especially difficult to separate causes the need for multi-stage grain cleaning, which increases the cost of processing raw materials.
