April 3-4, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the 'Fat-and-Oil Industry - Driver of the Growth of the Russian Agroindustry' Annual Conference was held. First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dzhambulat Khatuov took part in the conference.
According to Khatuov, the domestic sunflower oil market is almost saturated, and its growth points are now connected with exports. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation connects the further development of the industry with foreign markets, strategically important among which India and China, as well as with the increase in yields, which should be doubled in the coming years.
"Enterprises of the oil and fat industry will be able to use preferential loans from the second half of 2018: short and investment loans can be obtained on concessional terms thanks to a subsidy. I am confident that this will be an additional stimulus for the development of the industry," said Dzhambulat Khatuov.
