Tribal characteristics and standards of the Chistogorskaya pig breed were presented within the XXIII International Exhibition 'MVC: Grain-Mixed-Feed-Veterinary-2018'.
The new breed is characterized by a high content of meat and a small layer of fat: when slaughtering young animals with live weight of 100 kg. the thickness of the fat does not exceed 16.1 mm, the yield of meat from the carcass - more than 60%. The animals of the Chistogorskaya breed are characterized by a large litter (more than 13 piglets per pigeon). The safety of the offspring is more than 90%. The best results in comparison with other breeds were obtained due to precocity: live weight 100 kg. they reach for 161 days, spending thus on 1 kg. an increase of 2.68 kg. feeds.
