Ukraine: new ASF cases

Specialists in the veterinary medicine of Ukraine have registered new cases of African swine fever (ASF) in the Donetsk and Nikolaev regions.

 

January 23 - 30, two cases of African swine fever were reported in these areas. The ASF diagnosis was confirmed by laboratory tests. "Measures are being taken to localize and prevent the spread of the causative agent of ASF in the foci of the disease," the controllers said.
