A scientific and practical magazine devoted to the issues of personalized nutrition has appeared in Russia. Razumovsky's Moscow State University of Technology and Management (the First Cossack University, Omsky Biocluster member) initiated the publication of Russia's first scientific and practical journal on personalized nutrition, "Theory and Practice of Personalized Nutrition". The first magazine issue was already published in July 2019.
The editor-in-chief is Doctor of Economics, Professor, Rector of MSUTM Valentina Ivanova. "The magazine is a publication platform for consolidating opinions in the field of creating a personalized nutrition model. This model should be presented on the basis of a symbiosis of breakthrough research in the field of food technology, genetics, physiology, psychology, information systems, other related segments and aimed at developing new principles of food supply population in the 19th century," the rector commented on the magazine publication.
The magazine was created with the participation of leading researchers and practitioners in the field of introducing personalized nutrition technologies, as well as representatives of the business community in order to consolidate efforts to implement personalized diets in practice.
The educational function of the new periodical is to protect the interests of the consumer and find a reasonable compromise between the interests of food producers, the retail and the final consumer. The magazine will formulate proposals aimed at the timely adoption of measures to adapt the domestic food industry to the challenges of the time.
