The delegation of the Omsk region as part of the director of the Agrochemical Service Center Omsky (Omsky Biocluster member), PhD Vladimir Krasnitsky, head of the Department for Monitoring and Agrochemical Soil Surveys of the Agrochemical Service Center Omsky Alexander Schmidt, professor of the OmSAU Department of Agricultural Chemistry and of Soil Science (OmSAU is the Omsky Biocluster member) PhD Yuri Ermokhin took part in the international symposium "Modern Research and Assessment Methods for Environmental Monitoring, Land and Water Management in Agricultural Landscapes of Central Asia", which was held in Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan) in Jule.
Alexander Shmidt acted as one of the speakers of the event. The report was devoted to monitoring elements for assessing the fertility of arable soils. The symposium was attended by delegations from Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Germany and China.
