November, 358 samples were received by the Laboratory of quality and safety of products of animal and vegetable origin, fodder and environmental objects of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor. 2372 tests were carried out, 15 samples were found that did not meet the standards.
Experts of the Omsk Reference Center (member of Omsky Biocluster) found that eight samples of canned vegetables did not meet the requirements of government standards for fat, chloride and acidity. The sample of wheat was not tested for moisture content. Deviations from the requirements of regulatory documentation for the mass fraction of ash and crude gluten are found in a sample of wheat flour. Two samples of butter were not tested for fatty acid composition and sterol content. Two samples of oil flax had an increased content of weed impurities. Mercury contamination was found in a sample of soybean meal.
