World eggs consumption will grow 1.5 times by 2035

World eggs production shows steady growth. Since 2000, the total output has increased by 1.4 times, from 51 million tons to 70 million tons, according to Agroinvestor.

 

China is the leading egg producer (36% of the world's total production). The US share is 8%, India - 6%, Japan and Mexico - 4% each. Russia ranks sixth with a share of 3% of the world total, analysts of the International Independent Institute of Agrarian Policy (MNIAP) have estimated.

 

Russia consumes the world's fifth egg in the world - 260 pcs / person, yielding only to Mexico (360 pcs / person), Japan (330 pcs / person), Ukraine (310 pcs.). / person) and China (300 pcs / person). According to Rosstat, Russia in 2016 increased egg production by 2.2% to 43.5 billion units. Thus, per capita production was 297 pcs / person.

- Unfortunately, now Russia imports egg products, which are often of poor quality. Maybe, we must finally close the domestic market from this poor quality products and develop our own processing to meet the needs of the confectionery and food industries. However, while the Russian price of products can not compete with fake imported egg processing products.

 

In Omsk region, the project for deep egg processing is being implemented by LyuBim OVO LLC. The company plans to process the egg for melange and dried egg products, claimed by the domestic confectionery and food processing industry.
