China is the leading egg producer (36% of the world's total production). The US share is 8%, India - 6%, Japan and Mexico - 4% each. Russia ranks sixth with a share of 3% of the world total, analysts of the International Independent Institute of Agrarian Policy (MNIAP) have estimated.
Russia consumes the world's fifth egg in the world - 260 pcs / person, yielding only to Mexico (360 pcs / person), Japan (330 pcs / person), Ukraine (310 pcs.). / person) and China (300 pcs / person). In Omsk region, the project for deep egg processing is being implemented by LyuBim OVO LLC. The company plans to process the egg for melange and dried egg products, claimed by the domestic confectionery and food processing industry.
