Bribes again rose in price in Omsk

 

Representatives of the Omsk Police, Prosecutor's Office and the Investigation Committee spoke about the fight against corruption in Omsk region. Head of the Department for the Supervision of the Implementation of Anti-Corruption Legislation by the Prosecutor's Office of Omsk region, Sergei Tserigradskikh, at today's briefing, reported the average amount of bribes received by corrupt officials this year.

 

"The average size of a bribe (under Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, 'Taking a Bribe') amounted to slightly more than 150K RUR ($2.24K), in 2017 - a little more than 100K RUR ($ 1.5K)," the New Omsk portal quoted the words of Tserigradskikh.
