March 6, Irkutsk hosted an Industrial Forum 'Growth Engines: Spatial Development', initiated by the United Russia Party. Secretary of the General Council of the Party Andrey Turchak and coordinator of the federal party project 'Growth Engines' Denis Kravchenko were presented projects in the Siberian Federal District, implemented by Titan Group (a subsidiary of Titan Group, Titan-Agro LLC, is a member of Omsky Biocluster).
Members of the Public Council of the regional party project 'Growth Engines' at the strategic session of the forum 'Industrial Breakthrough - Development Plants' presented investment projects of Titan Group, including a project for deep processing of grain crops, which will allow processing of surplus grain crops on demand for Russian and foreign markets products with high added value.
As a result, the Тitan projects entered the nine best projects of the Siberia and were put forward by the Forum 'Locomotives of Growth' from the Siberia for further consideration by the Federal Expert Council, which will include representatives of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly, United Russia, the scientific community, bodies of executive power and other structures. At the beginning of April 2018, the Expert Council will meet to consider the best projects of all federal districts of Russia and identify specific measures of state support for their implementation in the regions. A total of 69 projects were presented at the forum, they were discussed within the framework of seven strategic sections, attended by more than 300 people from the Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk regions, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and other regions of the Siberian Federal District.
Director of the Association of Clusters and Technoparks Andrey Shpilenko also expressed his support for the project of deep processing of grain crops sold by Titan Group within of Agrobiotechnologicl Industrial Cluster in Omsk Region, noting the high potential of the project not only for import substitution but also for the production of high margin export products. "The federal law on industrial policy was adopted at the initiative of United Russia. Today, the most effective format for the realization of production relations is precisely industrial clusters, including inter-regional clusters, where everyone can build into existing commodity relations in accordance with their competencies and qualify for state support, said Shpilenko.
