February 27 - March 1, there was a visit of officials and business of the Omsk region to the Pavlodar region (Republic of Kazakhstan) headed by the Governor of the Omsk region Alexander Burkov. The next project within the framework of the development of Russian-Kazakh cooperation was organized on the Russian side: the Government of the Omsk Region, the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Omsky Biocluster member), the Export Support Center at the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency; from the Kazakh side: Akimat of the Pavlodar region and the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Pavlodar region.
The Omsk delegation included heads of ministries of the Omsk region, universities, industrial enterprises of agricultural engineering and agro-industry, food industry, and other fields of activity.
Following the visit, the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Pavlodar Region signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Representatives of the Omsk CCI and the Investment Development Agency of the Omsk Region visited the Pavlodar Special Economic Zone, including production sites, and held talks on future cooperation with Omsk industrial companies. The businessmen of the two countries identified promising areas for mutual deliveries of agro-industrial products and agricultural equipment.
