Pea deep processing plant will be built in Bashkiria

The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, announced the proposal of the IngFood (Samara) to create an innovative plant for the production of concentrates, starch and fiber in Bashkiria.

 

The investor plans to create a plant in Neftekamsk with a capacity of 50,000 tons per year, which will produce concentrates, starches and fodder fiber. In this case, the amount of investment in the project will be about RUR 4.95 billion ($ 67.45 million).

 

Investors are ready to become residents of the Special Economic Zone of Neftekamsk. It is noted that to date, such production in the European market operate only in France and Belgium. According to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkiria Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, the creation of such a production in Bashkiria will allow farmers to actively introduce peas into the crop rotation, which helps to maintain soil fertility.

 

It is noted that after peas, the yield of grain crops increases by 30 percent. Therefore, farmers in Bashkiria will be able to meet the demand of the plant for raw materials. According to the head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, the republic needs to create deep agricultural processing industries on its territory, which will create high-tech jobs.
