On April 30, the rector of the Omsk State Agrarian University (Omsky Biocluster member) Oksana Shumakova at a meeting of the academic council reported on the work of the university in 2018 according to the results of the self-examination procedure carried out in a planned manner. Omsk State Agrarian University in two nominations of the national university ranking (Internationalization, Socialization) took the 1st place among agricultural universities and the 2nd place in the Innovations nomination.
According to the results of the monitoring of the effectiveness of the activities of the Federal Ministry, the Omsk State Agrarian University (including the Tarsky Branch) in 2018 6 of 7 indicators were met. At the same time, the average score of the unified state exam for students is lower than the planned indicator (53.05 points instead of 60).
According to the international ARES rating, Omsk State Agrarian University is characterized by reliable quality of teaching, research activities and demand for graduates by employers, and three educational programs became the best programs of innovative Russia (land planning, cadastres and agronomy). For the second year in a row, the Omsk State Agrarian University is included in the UniRank system's global ranking of university web popularity.
The results of the University’s participation in international activities in 2018 were the implementation of six European international projects as a federal and regional coordinator.
