The famous American feed manufacturer, Alltech, has published an annual report on the production of feed in the world. The main conclusion: in the production of feed in general, everything is fine, the annual growth was 3%, and in 2018 the volume of production was 1.1 billion tons.
Moreover, the industry is growing by almost 2.7% per year. Thus, feed production over five years in various countries of the world has grown by more than 14%. The report's authors note that not only the population of the world is growing, but also the number of the middle class, which consumes more meat and is willing to pay for it.
It is noted that the Russian market remains dominant in the region. 42% of feed produced in Russia goes to the needs of pig breeding.
