April 23 - 27, the Omsk business community visited Germany organized by the Omsk City Administration and the Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (member of Omsky Biocluster). The visit of the delegation took place at the invitation of the municipality of Barleben, the administration of the Berde district and the Chamber of Commerce of Magdeburg (Saxony-Anhalt land).
The participation of the Omsk delegation in the cooperation exchange in the Innovation Center of the business incubator of Barleben became the center of the business program. Omsk business in b2b format discussed prospects for cooperation not only with German, but also with Serbian partners who also took part in the event.
April 26, Omsk business delegation visited the international industrial Hanover Exhibition (Hannover Messe - 2018). Representatives of the Omsk business took part in the presentation and held talks with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment of Saxony-Anhalt on the general stand of Saxony-Anhalt. Further the companies on individual programs visited the stands and held negotiations with the participants of the Hanover Exhibition.
President of the Omsk CCI Olga Fedulova:
"In the course of the visit, we presented opportunities for Omsk business, not only about official events, our participants held point meetings on previously worked contacts, concrete agreements were reached, and we hope that they will be implemented in real projects. The second aspect is that we can see modern technological trends, understand the market needs not only of today's, but also of tomorrow. And most importantly - the interest of the German business to cooperate with Russia has not disappeared. The sanctions regime hinders everyone."
