Bryansk Meat Company, which is part of Miratorg, has started construction of a high-tech line for processing meat products and the production of ready meals. The new production will become an integral part of the complex for the slaughter and processing of cattle. Total investment in the project will amount to 4.9b RUR ($ 79.02m).
It is assumed that the new line will reach its designed capacity by 2020 and monthly it will process 1.8 thousand tons of raw materials. The product line will be more than one thousand tons of ready-made culinary dishes: soups, broths, sauces, roasted bacon ... "This project is a logical addition to the existing production of the cattle division. Miratorg strategy focuses on increasing the depth of processing and expanding the range of products, both for the domestic market , and for export," company said in a statement.
According to Miratorg, its own raw materials base, modern equipment and advanced technologies will allow the company to ensure a stable volume of production of ready-to-eat dishes of decent quality, available at affordable prices. Last year, Miratorg produced 415,000 tons of pork, 114,000 tons of poultry meat, 82,000 tons of beef, 2.5 thousand tons of veal and 6.2 thousand tons of milk.
