The head of the Omsk region appointed a new Minister of Agriculture

The Governor of the Omsk Region, Alexander Burkov, appointed Nikolay Drofa as Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region on June 6, 2019. The assignment order was signed on June 5, 2019.

 

Nikolay Drofa was born on June 2, 1963 in the Kostanay region (Kazakhstan). In 1994, he graduated from the Kazakhstan Agricultural Institute with a degree in agronomy, in 2016 he graduated from the Omsk State Agrarian University (Omsky Biocluster member) with a degree in ecology and environmental management.

 

After graduating from the Agricultural Institute, Nikolay Drofa worked in the agro-industry organizations. Since 2010 - the head administration of the Omsk rural settlement of the Omsk district. From 2016 he worked in the Ministry of Agriculture as Deputy Ministry Head. From December 2018 - First Deputy, from March 12, 2019 - Acting Minister.
