According to statistics, prices for mixed fodders in Russia have been growing for the fifth consecutive month. The average price of mixed fodder in June this year was set at 15.4 thousand RUR ($ 242.53) per ton, which is 3.5% more than in the last month of spring and 1.4% more than in June 2017. Since the beginning of the year, the price of mixed fodder has increased by 11.7%
For the period since January 2016, the minimum price for mixed fodder in Russia was fixed in January 2018 - 13.8 thousand RUR ($ 217.33) per ton, the maximum price was August August 2016 - 16.8 thousand RUR ($ 264.58) per ton. The most expensive mixed fodder in June was sold in the Southern Federal District: 19.8 thousand RUR ($ 311.82) per tonne, the cheapest in the Siberian Federal District: 10.4 thousand RUR ($ 163.79) per ton.
In June, fodder for pigs increased most significantly (by almost 5%). On average, their cost was 14.1 thousand RUR ($ 222.06) per ton.
