In October, employees of the Laboratory of Quarantine Phytosanitary Examinations and Surveys of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (member of Omsky Biocluster) analyzed more than 3500 samples, of which 267 were part of the state assignment. Specialists conducted about 6500 examinations, of which 270 were in the state assignment. According to the research results, specialists identified 112 quarantine cases.
Most often in October, experts identified Western (Californian) flower thrips in cut gerberas, pot chrysanthemums and gloxinia. Two batches of soybeans were infected with Ambrosia polynolifolia. The Russian knapweed (Rhaponticum repens) was found on land plots in Sherbakulsky and Odessky districts of Omsk region. Solanum found in the Tavrichesky district. The Golden Potato Nematode was found during examination of soil samples.
