Benzapyrene found in soil samples

In October, the Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Products of Animal and Plant Origin, Feed and Environmental Objects of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 1344 samples. 1008 samples were investigated, 8677 tests were carried out, 15 positive samples were found.

 

Violations in the content of milk fat, fatty acid composition and the presence of sterols were identified in five samples of dairy products (butter, milk and cheese). Six samples of wheat and barley did not meet the state standard for organoleptic indicators, the content of weed impurities and humidity. Three soil samples contained elevated benzapyrene. Deviation in the content of total phosphorus was detected in a sample of grilled sausages.
