Uzbekistan buys Russian agricultural equipment

According to the Rosspetsmash Association, in 2018, deliveries of Russian agricultural equipment to the Republic of Uzbekistan increased compared to 2017 by a factor of 7.5 to 1.35 billion RUR ($ 20.71 million). Russian companies export a wide range of agricultural machinery to Uzbekistan: grain and forage harvesters, energy-efficient tractors, harrows, seeders, balers and other products, the portal agroxxi.ru reports.

 

In March, the international agroindustrial exhibition AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2019 was held in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. Omsk Experimental Plant FSUE and its dealer, Basis company, presented at the stand information about the company's products.

 

Dmitry Golovanov at a meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Teshaev spoke about the technologies offered to farmers of Uzbekistan. Of particular interest to the industry leader was the selection technique and equipment produced by the plant. He said that at the moment a project on the development of breeding and seed production is being launched in the republic, and one cannot do without high-quality reliable equipment. Considerable interest was caused by the SOWER sowing units and Stepnyak cultivators. According to the results of the meetings and negotiations, preliminary orders were received for the Omsk Experimental Plant products.
