Omsk veterinarians reported regards February results

February 1 - 28, the Veterinary Expert Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 263 samples, with which 927 tests were conducted. As a result, experts identified 25 cases of non-compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents.

Pathogenic microorganisms (Listeria) were found in five samples of poultry meat. Another sample of poultry meat contained salmonella. Four samples of lactic acid products contained low levels of lactic acid microorganisms. The beef meat sample did not meet the standards for freshness (appearance and color of the surface, smell, texture, state of the muscles in the cut, presence of a large number of sticks and cocci in the smear - more than 30 in sight). Five samples of washes from the process equipment did not meet the requirements of the regulatory documentation on the presence of bacteria of the group of Escherichia coli. Experts also found a large number of molds in the four air samples of the refrigerators.
