Until 2026, our planet expects a significant increase in consumption of livestock products.
According to the forecast of the leading economist of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Dmitry Prikhodko, the growth of poultry meat consumption in the global market is expected to be 12%. Most of all, it will increase in the countries of the African continent: Sudan, Nigeria and Ethiopia. In addition, consumption of beef in the world will increase by 10% over the eight years, pork - by 9%, and dairy products - by 20%.
"Such an increase in demand for meat and dairy products will lead to increased demand for corn," said Dmitry Prikhodko.
