Strengthening grain quality control in the near future awaits producers, resellers and those involved in its storage. At the same time, disinfection of warehouses for grain storage will be one of the main innovations. Now many companies carry out disinfection on their own or enter into contracts with organizations that are not licensed. In the case of the introduction of obligations to work with licensed companies that have not only special equipment, but also access to work with high-hazard chemicals, the companies will bear the costs. However, if the grain is infected, the disinfection company will be held responsible and will take on financial risks.
Another significant innovation is the production control program from the moment of sowing grain to its laying in the grain elevator. All data (and this is the account of weeds and pests in the fields, the frequency of chemical treatments, etc.) now remains inside the company. A single base will simplify control and positively affect the export direction, as each purchasing country has its own stringent requirements for grain quality. Moreover, the changes will affect even those who work directly with deliveries abroad.
