Poultry: Tests have shown residues of quinolones

In August, the Expert Veterinary Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 916 samples, with which 2,338 tests were carried out. As a result, specialists identified 174 cases of non-compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents.

 

An excess of the total aerobic bacteria count (TAB) was found in a sample of fish products. 4 samples of poultry meat products contained residues of antimicrobial drugs of the quinolone group. Antibiotics of the tetracycline group were found in a sample of dairy products. An excess of TAB was detected in 14 samples of washes, 9 samples of washings contained bacteria of the E. coli group. 124 soil samples did not meet the requirements of regulatory documents for exceeding the E. coli group index. 19 soil samples did not meet the standards for exceeding the enterococcus index. Salmonella pathogenic microorganisms were found in 2 soil samples.
