The results of laboratory examinations: September

The Laboratory for Quality and Safety of Animal and Plant Products, Feed and Environmental Objects of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received 676 samples in September, with which 8816 studies were conducted. As a result, specialists identified 16 samples that did not comply with regulatory documentation.

 

Seven samples with violations of state standards are found in dairy products. Insufficient mass fraction of protein and dry skim milk residue, as well as violations of the fatty acid composition and density were detected in a sample of drinking milk. Whey was characterized by a low protein content, processed cheese did not meet the standards for fatty acid composition. Four samples of butter did not pass strict control by such indicators as mass fraction of moisture, fat, fatty acid composition, sterols. One sample of peas for fodder purposes turned out to be with a high content of weed impurities. Analyzes of three wheat samples showed high moisture levels, and two samples of wheat flour showed low gluten content and quality. Two soil samples contained an increased amount of heavy metals.
