The launch of a farm for growing and processing turkey with a capacity of 5.5 thousand tons per year is planned for 2019 in Ingushetia. The project is implemented by the Yuzhny Poultry Farm. Within two years, production capacity will increase to 10.2 thousand tons.
The project includes the construction of poultry houses, a slaughterhouse, an incubator, a workshop for the deep processing of meat, facilities for processing waste into meat and bone meal and fertilizer. At the second stage of the project, in 2020-2021, a feed mill with a capacity of 26-27 thousand tons per year will be built. Investment in the project will amount to 3.8 billion RUR ($ 57.61 million).
As of January 1, 2019, 1.2 billion RUR ($ 18.19 million) were invested in construction, of which about 500 million RUR ($ 7.58 million) are the investor’s own funds. The financial partners are the Russian Agricultural Bank and the Development Corporation of the Republic of Ingushetia.
