Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia imposed temporary restrictions on the supply of pigs and pig products from Hungary to Russia due to the outbreak of African swine fever, according to the website of the Federal Service.
"Due to the worsening of the epizootic situation in the African swine fever in the Heves region of Hungary, on May 7, 2018, temporary restrictions are imposed on deliveries of live pigs, slaughter products, pork meat and pork meat products to the Russian Federation from all over Hungary, embryos of pigs and sperm boars," said in a statement.
