Soyuzmoloko predicts a 3-5% increase in the export of dairy products by the end of the year, the Executive Director of the National Union of Milk Producers Artem Belov reported at the conference Agricultural Holdings of Russia 2019.
"At the end of the year, we expect an increase in exports by 3-5%, first of all, deliveries will increase to the CIS countries. Despite the hopes that were after the opening of China, there was no significant breakthrough," said Artem Belov. "We should understand that, on the one hand, it is export growth, a matter of time, on the other hand, it is the topic of the products that we supply there. Now we supply b2c products there, but there is a demand for b2b products: whey, dry milk. But for us, the supply of these products is closed."
The DairyNews recalls: according to Soyuzmoloko CEO Artem Belov, one of the key trends in the dairy market next year will be an increase in milk consumption in processing by reducing the share of counterfeit products.
