Tomsk Agroholding processes organic waste into bio-oil

Siberian Agrarian Group livestock holding based in Tomsk will build a plant for processing organic waste into bio-oil, SoyaNews reports.

Siberian Agrarian Group has concluded an agreement with the Ulyanovsk Plant TTK for the production of the Gr-2 industrial unit. The plant will process garbage and any organic raw materials, including those of animal origin, into natural gas, petroleum residue and solid coal. The installation should be transferred to the end of the Q1 2019, the cost of production is 28M RUR ($ 417.57K). A plant is currently being built in the Tomsk pig-breeding complex to accommodate a complex of Gr-2 processing units in the amount of 10 pieces, according to the company press service.

The development and design of the Gr-2 installation began ten years ago, more than 200M RUR ($ 2.98M) were spent on these works. The installation is based on the pyrolysis reaction, that is, the thermal decomposition of organic waste with a lack of oxygen. Siberian Agrarian Group plans to recoup the plant within three to four years by selling processed products.
