Veterinary laboratory of Omsk Reference Center: results of the Q1

Q1 of 2018, the Expert Veterinary Laboratory of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (member of Omsky Biocluster) received 390 samples, with which 1,620 tests were carried out. As a result, experts identified 46 inconsistencies in regulatory documentation.

 

Excess of total bacterial contamination was found in five samples of dairy products and one sample of bakery products. 22 samples of dairy products and three samples of meat products contained bacteria of the Escherichia coli group. Listeria is found in three samples of meat products. Exceeding the content of enterococci is recorded in two soil samples. Exceeding the index is found in five soil samples. Two samples of beef meat did not meet the requirements of regulatory documentation for organoleptic indicators. Two samples of raw cow's milk did not meet the requirements of the regulations of the Customs Union. One sample of milk contained an antibiotic of the tetracycline group - oxytetracycline, and another sample of milk contained an antibiotic of the penicillin group - cloxacillin. Antimicrobial agents of the quinolone group are found in a sample of poultry meat.

 

The results were confirmed by the arbitration method in the Russian State Center for Animal Feed and Drug Standardization and Quality FGBI.
