The Ministry of Agriculture has reaffirmed the forecast for the grain harvest in Russia in 2019 in the amount of 118 million tons. The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev told reporters at the exhibition of advanced technologies in agricultural production "All-Russian Field Day - 2019".
"If we are talking about next year, then the forecast for grain is about 118 million tons, we do not increase it," he noted. The minister said that out of the total, 75 million tons of wheat will be exported. According to Rosstat, in 2018, Russian farmers harvested 113.25 million tons of grain, in 2017 - 135.4 million tons.
