Russian scientists begin work on the agricultural machinery robotization. This statement was made by the director-chief designer of the Central Research and Development Institute of Robotics and Technical Cybernetics Alexander Lopota, TASS reports.
"Agriculture is a promising area, today we are lagging behind our Western colleagues, but I think that in the next five years we will be able to achieve serious positions and together with Russian tractor factories make good proposals for intelligent systems," Lopota said. He stressed that robotic tractors should not be more expensive than conventional tractors by more than 20%.
