Omsky Biocluster took part in the meeting of the business community with Maxim Oreshkin

November 6, members of the General Council and regional branches of Business Russia, within the framework of the XIV Congress of the organization, met with the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin. The meeting was attended by Omsky Biocluster CEO Dmitry Romanenko.

"When we look at the economic growth goals , it is obvious that it is almost entirely dependent on the investment activity dynamics. When we decompose this indicator by business sector, we understand that the leading role, of course, should be assumed by a medium-sized, fast-growing business, a business that invests in new technologies and manufacturing. Our task is to make sure that the positive dynamics is maintained, the number of barriers is minimal," noted Maxim Oreshkin.

He spoke about the state efforts to stimulate investment activity. "We will work together, help you as much as possible and listen to those initiatives that come from the business community. From the point of view of the impact on future economic growth, it seems to me that Business Russia should play such a key role and become an instrument that will move the economy forward," said the Minister of Economic Development.

President of Business Russia, Alexei Repik, recalled that the organization was at the origin of work to improve the business climate in the country - through the National Entrepreneurial Initiative launched at one of the organization’s congresses, as well as through the National Technology Initiative. "The whole case, which aims to at least not interfere and remove barriers to make it easier to make investment decisions in terms of the quality of the business climate - this is what the Ministry of Economic Development is now engaged in," said President of Business Russia.
