OmSAU presented results of selection of leguminous crops

September 3-7, the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference 'Innovative Technologies in the Field of Genetics, Selection, Seed-Breeding and Plant Reproduction' took place on the site of the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, the National Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences under the auspices of the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The event was attended by researchers of Omsk State Agrarian University (member of Omsky Biocluster).

 

OmSAU conducts systematic work with leguminous crops. As a recognition of the merits of OmSAU in this area, the participants of the event were presented the report of Nina Kazydub, Professor of the Department of Agronomy, Selection and Seed Growing by topic 'Main Directions and Results of Selection of Leguminous Crops in Omsk State Agrarian University.' The conference gathered this time 150 participants from 17 research institutes, 19 sectoral and zonal research institutes, 22 agricultural universities, four experimental stations and eight state institutions. Participants of this conference will develop a concept for the strategic development of seed production in the Russian Federation.
