The Omsk reference center of Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) received a new device: an ultra-fast tandem liquid gas chromatomass spectrometer LCMS-8060 manufactured by Shimadzu.
This equipment is used to determine the content of antibiotics in products of animal origin by high performance liquid chromatography. The innovative UF-Qarray ion optics system focuses the ion flux and, in combination with a heated gas ionization source and an advanced vacuum system, provides a significant increase in the intensity of the target ion signals. In this case, the noise intensity does not increase and remains at the level characteristic of previous models of mass spectrometers. Laboratory specialists were trained during the commissioning of equipment.
