Announcement of the IIIrd Agronomical Forum of Tomsk region

The Agronomical Forum this year will be held within three days with the participation of experts from Moscow, the Republic of Belarus and the Siberian regions. The main theme is 'Tomsk Agriculture: Finding Answers to Modern Challenges'.

 

Economists, agronomists, breeders, managers and specialists of agricultural enterprises, peasant farms, representatives of agrarian educational institutions, sectoral and scientific departments, management of the agro-industrial complex of the Siberian regions will gather to discuss actual problems in the field of agriculture. The event will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

 

As noted by Olga Shinkevich, director of Agrarian Center of Tomsk region, the co-chairman of the Interregional Center for Agro Industry Engineering, the issues of crop and livestock production efficiency directly affect the social and economic development of rural areas:

- Governor of Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin instructed to use the resources of our region as efficiently as possible. This applies to both large agricultural producers, and medium-sized farms, farmers. Modern technologies, qualified personnel and, undoubtedly, active interregional cooperation are the key to success.

 

The Agronomic Forum of Tomsk region was established by Governor of Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin and was first held in December 2015. Annually more than 300 scientists and practitioners, agronomists and economists, specialists and managers of farms, representatives of the management of the agro-industrial complex, including experts from the regions of Russia take part in it.

 

Information. Interregional Center for Agro Industry Engineering is the interregional professional platform for experts from Novosibirsk, Omsk and Tomsk regions, which provides for cooperation in the provision of engineering consulting, pre-project and project services, development of human resources in the agroindustrial complex, increasing the investment attractiveness of the agroindustrial complex, forming a resource database, laboratory equipment, personnel, implementation of expert activities in the agroindustrial complex.
