According to the results of 2017, the export of food products from Belarus amounted to almost $ 5 billion, said Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats, BelTA learned.
According to the minister, during the reporting year the state food security was ensured, and the domestic market is satiated with domestic food products. The financial condition of most agricultural companies has improved.
"Until 2020, the task is to increase the production of the main types of products, load processing enterprises, surplus in the amount of $ 7 billion to be sold outside the state," said Zayats.
