Chemists in February found cheeses and butter with sterols

The Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Products of Animal and Plant Origin, Feed and Environmental Objects of the Omsk Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor (Omsky Biocluster member) for February received 294 samples. As a result, experts identified eleven samples that did not comply with regulatory documents.

 

 

Five samples of dairy products were not tested for compliance with regulatory documents, of which three samples of cheese on the content of sterols, one butter on the mass fractions of moisture and fat, the content of sterols and fatty acid composition, one sample of low-fat cottage cheese. One sample of egg yolk had a low fat content. Two samples of wheat contained pests, another one did not meet the standards for humidity. Two samples of oil cakes did not comply with regulations on crude protein and raw fat.
